About Us
I've been in education for 15 years. During my career I have taught everything from college philosophy to high school English, from introductory French to second grade math. I specialize in working with students at both ends of the bell curve: those unique minds that thrive when information is presented in creative and unusual ways. I'm passionate about the joy of discovery, and I strive to foster that excitement in my students.

Private Tutoring
Tutoring Options
We offer tutoring in many different subject areas. Our specialties are English and philosophy, but we have taught science, math, French, Spanish, and history. We have experience working with students of all age and ability levels. So whether your 8-year-old student has a nonverbal learning disability and is struggling to read, or you are a 20-year-old college student looking for assistance with your Introduction to Philosophy paper, we can help. And if we can't, we will put you in touch with someone who will.
With everything going on in the world, most of our clients prefer virtual tutoring. However, for many students, virtual learning is ineffective. If you are in the Richmond area in-person sessions are available. We have been fully vaccinated, and are willing to come to you.

Starting rates for private sessions vary, depending on what you require. We frequently work with families in need, so please reach out for an individualized quote.
Other Services
In addition to private tutoring, we offer services to both parents and educators alike. Do you need tips on how to help your struggling reader, or how to advocate for their needs in the classroom? Are you an instructor who needs help reimagining your classroom? Do you want to learn more about project-based learning? We can help. Contact us today.
